CDL is a market leading, family run CNC machining company, based in the industrial heartland of Germany. Its modern factory occupies 6,000 sqm and houses more than 30 modern machining centres, serving a wide range of national and international clients across many industrial sectors, with a strong focus on railway, defence, industrial goods and medical technology. Highest Quality Standards
CDL’s quality control systems operate in strict compliance with ISO9001 and HPQ standards for Railway components. In addition, the company is in the process of becoming certified for IATF 16949 and IRIS. CDL’s advanced technology enabling just-in-time production and robust in-house quality assurance procedures have made CDL the first choice for many companies requiring finished parts ready for assembly oftentimes at a short notice and without the need for external inspection. The Team
CDL’s team includes more than 70 highly skilled engineers, CNC machine operators and office staff. The wide knowledge and skills the team possesses cover the full spectrum of engineering disciplines, enables CDL to consistently deliver CNC products and services to the highest possible standard.
Pascal Landolt
CEO
Pascal joined the CDL team in 2011 and took over as CEO in 2018. Before being appointed as CEO, Pascal has worked across all departments giving him deep insights into all aspects of the business. He holds a Master of technical Management CCI and Bachelor of Engineering. Outside of work, Pascal enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports, and gardening.
Johannes Göris
Senior Sales Manager
Johannes joined CDL in 2015 from a leading European foundry. In his capacity of Senior Sales Manager, he focuses primarily on the railway sector, where CDL holds a market leading position. Johannes is also responsible for the relationships with the foundries and sourcing of casts. He holds an engineering degree in foundry technology and is a specialist in sand casting. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and is actively involved in the local choral music community.
Sebastian Witter
Business Development Manager
Sebastian is a state-certified business economist with industry experience in the steel and casting industries. He is a specialist in investment casting and at CDL he is responsible for building and strengthening customer partnerships and business development. His favourite activities outside of work include spending time with his family and tending his garden.
Hans Vannumissen
Quality Assurance Manager
Hans has been with CDL since its early days in 2002 and is responsible for all quality management and assurance processes. Hans is a certified toolmaker and internal auditor, and with decades of experience in quality management, he implemented and certified the ISO 9001 standard at CDL. Outside of work, he enjoys gardening and spending time with his family.
Georg Wollensack
Head of Production
Since 2007, Georg is in charge of machining and oversees all aspects of production management and apprentice training. Georg received training in cutting machine operations, specialising in turning technology. In his spare time, he enjoys swimming, music, soccer and working in the garage.
Angela Funken
Financial Controller
Angela has been with CDL since it was founded in 2002. Angela oversees the company’s financial control, accounting and accounts receivable management. She trained as a wholesale trade clerk and accountant. Angela enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, biking, hiking and engaging in handicrafts.
Andreas Carmanns
Logistics Manager
Andreas started with CDL in 2002 and is responsible for the management, control and optimisation of material flows. He manages purchase orders and is in charge of creating new sales orders and overseeing production control and is our Allrounder. During his spare time, Andreas restores tractors and cars.
Elsbeth Esser
Logistics Manager
Elsbeth joined CDL in 2017 and is responsible for the management, control and optimisation of material flows. She manages purchase orders and is in charge of creating new sales orders and overseeing production control. During her spare time, Elsbeth enjoys travelling and reading books.

Stefan Braun
Management and Sales Assistant
Stefan joined CDL in 2019 and provides assistance to the CEO across a wide range of sales and operations projects. He is a state-certified mechanical engineering technician and specialises in hydraulics. Outside of work, he is a member of a handball club, maintains a small basement workshop, and enjoys reading exciting books.
